Fun Run on the 100 Block in Council Bluffs
Every year hundreds of people gather on the 100 Block to experience the Shamrock Shuffle, a fun run put on by 712 Initiative. A few years ago, with a few others, our very own Matt Johnson dreamt of a St. Patrick's Day race starting and ending in front of Barley's. This race is now a staple on the 100 Block.
In their finest St. Patrick’s Day attire, people gather to enjoy the live music, drink and eat, and of course, race! The Shamrock Shuffle is a 5k race that’s professionally timed so you can know for sure just how fast (or slow) you really are! Keep an eye out for event details for the Shamrock Shuffle this year!
