Barley's Bar and Grill is located in Council Bluffs, Iowa's most vibrant and exciting nightlife and entertainment district: The Historic 100 Block of West Broadway.

 

Tucked along a brick row of buildings just a few steps west from the intersection of South First Street and West Broadway, Barley's distinctive black awning is a welcoming sight to visitors looking for award-winning American fare, extensive tap list and bar selection.

 

We are close to everything and everyone.  Downtown Omaha, Nebraska is under 10 minutes to the west; it's an easy and short drive down Broadway.  Barley's attracts thousands of patrons from all over the world who are visiting Omaha for one of the city's largest events, including the NCAA's Men's College World Series, the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials and the NCAA's Men's Basketball Championship.

 

We're two hours east of Des Moines, the state's capitol.  Because of that (and due to our big-city look and small town feel), Barley's has been a popular spot of candidates stumping for president during the Iowa caucuses, including former Vice President Joe Biden, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders.  Recognized across southwest Iowa as a popular Hawkeye bar,  Barley's attracts football fans on and off-season.

 

Barley's is a 20 minute drive from nearby Treynor, Iowa; a half-hour drive from Missouri Valley, Iowa, a 45 minute drive from both Harlan, Iowa and Atlantic, Iowa; and just a few minutes from anywhwre in beautiful Council Bluffs.
